Canon Pixma M145 Error E42

I have a repair a while ago of a canon pixma M145 printer and it took me a while to figure out whats really wrong with it, only to find out that the error was not only on waist inkpad error but also related to the scanner. so here is what i did to fix it.

1. reset the waist ink pad by using the steps.

1.a turn of the printer

1.b press the power on button and stop reset button at the same time

1.c release stop reset button then press it four times

1.d this will clear waist ink-pad error.

2. open the scanner by removing the glass over and check if there is a spring that was removed inside all you need to do is bring it back to where it belong to under the light bulb of the scanner, this is the one that would push the light bulb near the glass cover that you just removed.

3. bring back the cover and see to it that all fits well with each other and there you already fixed your canon pixma mp145.

Windows Vista

I have installed vista for quite some time now and believe me there have been a lot of trouble for me and I want to make some list out of it. and here are the lists.

1. the system requirements, wow they say they you can run it at a pentuim 3 800mhz, 512 of ram, 15 gig of hardrive, video card and a dvd rom. its true this is a minimum requirement but i tell you this is only for running windows vista, when you start running aplications your gonna wait sometime before it will open. the best requirement for vista to run for my point of view would be
1.6 Mhz of processor
1 gig of ram
128 mb of video card
15 gig of hardisk coz almost 8 gig will be consumed for the operating system
DVD rom

I have tested this and this would be enough to have a smooth sailing on your windows vista operating system.

2. Driver issues, its been months now since the release of windows vista but drivers for hardware havent cope up yet i still encounter problems when i install vista on different PC's, if cannot find suitable driver its time to tep back to xp.

3. Software issues, some aplications dont run on windows vista, even some games.

these are some the issues that i have encountred using vista, if some of you have some other issues feel free to express your self so that microsoft would know some of it.
